I don’t know why you clicked, but I hope this read is worth it.

There are a variety of circumstances that causes or determines why you don’t feel like working. You could be going through a difficult season; it could be depression, heart-break, illness, or things are just hard.

Uhm, one thing I’ve come to realize when you don’t feel like working is that you don’t actually feel like working.

Yesterday at the train station, I saw a limping man with a walking stick. He had lots of loads to carry. His legs were already weak, I couldn’t help but assist him. How else was he going to carry his bags?

As we got down from the train and walked to the cab that was ready to pick me, I had to walk carefully and walk at his pace. And gradually we were at our destination.

When things get tough, and you have no zest for life, for work and little to no motivation; walk at your pace and work at your pace. You’re that limping man. You’re never gonna feel motivated in this state, but in your unmotivated state, sit at your desk and take it bit by bit at the pace you can. And gradually your tiny drops make an ocean.

I did this, this morning so can you.

See you in my next entry.
